... this book for a course and I would not recommend using this book

I'm currently reading this book for a course and I would not recommend using this book. It's an easy read the author explains something well about child development but the cultural asspect is terrible so many Sterotypes , I would hate for an educator who is new to the field to get ahold of this text and take everything he is saying for face value, they would be very Mis informed. I'm on my last chapter and I was happy I was often offended reading this book

I felt the condition of the book was not as good as expected

The book arrived in a timely manner. I felt the condition of the book was not as good as expected. There were 3 sticky notes left sticking out on the pages and the front cover was tattered and bent back at the top. Otherwise, there were no markings on the book and it was easy to read.
